We build world-class, best-selling mobile app solutions tailored to our client's specifications across various platforms. We've worked for clients of all sizes, we've met extremely tight deadlines and we've crafted everything from small standalone Apps to complex solutions with custom content management systems.
We're an established team of passionate, knowledgeable and experienced professionals, perfectly suited to dealing with all aspects of mobile development. Be it an App that will stay at the #1 spot in the App Store, or an App that will be released on a custom enterprise store - we've done it all.
Based in Wellington, New Zealand our expert team of designers, developers and project managers can take your mobile idea and make it soar!
We've been building Apps for as long as there has been an App Store to sell them on and we've learnt a few things along the way. With household names such as the All Blacks and the Metservice under our belts we know what it takes to make a successful App. Working with you, we will be able to apply this in-depth industry experience to your requirements to make sure that you get the right solution for your business.
Great design is one of the major keys of an App's success. Nothing beats an aesthetically pleasing UI that delivers a smooth and intuitive user experience. Our designers focus on delivering designs and experiences specifically tailored for smartphones and tablets. By understanding the opportunities, and also the limitations, of a small screen we will deliver an App that truly stands out from the rest - we don't settle for 'that's okay'.
Building Apps that look great and work well is what we do. We built the top paid iPhone App of 2013 (the Metservice App) and the number one Sports App in New Zealand and Australia (The Official All Blacks App) but we are just as proud of every App we have developed. We've got a team who've developed a range of Apps, from games though to complex enterprise level Apps. Always at the cutting edge of technology, this is a team you can depend on.
BP, one of the world's largest fuel retailers, chose PaperKite as their partner, to create BPMe - a NZ-first in enabling customers to pay for their fuel from inside their car. This effortless experience, to reliably pay for fuel, fill the tank, and drive off, lets customers save time, avoid the queue, and stay out of NZ's typically inclement weather for longer.
Together with finding your nearest BP fuel station, stamping your virtual coffee card, and capturing paperless fuel receipts, the Android and iOS Apps mask a complex technology stack, designed to help customers choose BP first when deciding to fuel up. These features, along with the hero Pay in Car experience, makes BPMe a key customer engagement channel for BP's customers. Having launched in July 2016, with a 4+ star rating on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, we have seen unprecedentedly positive reviews for such an App.
ampm is a convenience store with nearly 1000 locations covering the west coast of the USA, providing a huge range of convenience foods and drinks. ampm were keen to drive more customers to their stores by building a unique mobile App experience.
PaperKite worked with ampm and Stun to develop a virtual Scratch Card game to encourage users into ampm stores. A specialised server was developed to manage prizes, push notifications, and more. Customers visiting an ampm store use their App to receive scratchers that they can play-to-win for a great range of prizes. A truly fun App, Scratch Power brings the excitement of fireworks and rock music to the actions and instant gratification of playing a scratch card. The App was launched in early 2015 and was fantastically received by users in the USA. As of February 2017, nearly 60 million scratcher games have been played!
The All Blacks are the reigning Rugby World Champions and an iconic global brand. NZ Rugby and PaperKite determined that world-class Apps would extend the brand's reach, bringing fans closer to games, scores and players, via a unique mobile experience.
The first Official All Blacks Apps were released in 2010, and are now into their 6th generation, with an accompanying Apple Watch App. Today's solution includes a bespoke API and Content Management System which serve rich media content, and rugby competition data. The Apps include a real-time newsfeed of All Blacks content, in-depth statistics and information for All Blacks games, and other major Rugby Union competitions. All of the All Blacks Apps have hit the top spot in their respective fields to date. The latest version was Apple's Featured App of the Week.
